About
What is it?
Non-profit law may be defined in a narrow and broad sense.
In a broad sense it is the regulation of public policy of any kind encouraging private non-commercial public activity (e.g. regulation of education system, which defines the involvement of the society in the management of education institutions).
In a narrow sense it is the legal environment directly related to non-profit organizations and their activity (e.g. legal forms of non-governmental organizations, taxation, etc.)
Current researches of NGO law institute generally deal with the non-profit law in a narrow sense, although as separate NGO sectors are gaining strength the scope and fields of research tend to expand. Therefore we expect to give you more dedicated investigations concerning the involvement of the civil society in separate fields, in the long run.
