We invite you to take part

NGO law institute is in continuous search of new lawyers and other persons with substantial knowledge in the field of non-profit law capable of carrying out researches in this field, writing analytical articles, teaching material and providing consultation and trainings to non-governmental organizations.

Why do we need experts?

The experts with experience/knowledge are invited to become our associated experts who would participate in the projects undertaken by the Institute, consult the organizations and share their experiences in the field of non-profit law with each other considering the need and possibilities. An associated expert is not an employee of the NGO law institute - as a rule, he acts individually, using his own experience and acquired knowledge.

Our aim is to create a group of legal specialists who would be readily accessible and available for non-governmental organizations and other interested persons, if needed.

Main fields:

  • Taxation of non-profit entities;
  • Accounting and accountability of non-profit legal entities;
  • Taxation of charity and sponsorship funds;
  • Drafting of internal legal documents of NGOs;
  • European Union regulation of non-profit activities;
  • Recognition of international non-governmental organizations and their activity;
  • Voluntary work and labour relationships in non-governmental organizations;
  • NGO participation in public government, etc.

Experience

People who want to become associated experts should have a thorough knowledge of particularities of NGO activity and their system in Lithuania. We are looking for lawyers who have already consulted non-governmental organizations as well for ones with legislative experience.

In case you have the knowledge or experience discussed above in one of the aforementioned fields, please send us your CV and a short introduction concerning the activity you would be interested in.
