Project “Initiative of progressive changes of NGO law”

The project aims at improvement of the competence of authorities in the field of non-profit law hereby encouraging the dialogue between them and non-governmental organizations with a purpose of creation of the legal environment beneficial for the development of NGOs.

Contrary to the project “Improvement of the NGO legal framework”, the precursor of the initiative, it will pay less attention to the scholarly and conceptual evaluation of the non-profit regulation; it will be aimed at encouraging specific changes in the current legal environment instead. It will be achieved by persistent discussions and direct communication with public authorities; the European Center for Not-for-Profit Law will be a moderator, as it was before, and will help to bring in the best experience of foreign countries in the field of NGO law.

The proposed amendments of the legal framework are presented in the research “Improvement of the NGO legal framework” which can be found at “Researches and analyses”.
